The following Terms & Conditions (these "Terms & Conditions, "Terms of Use" or "Terms") govern your access and registration at Alpha Football/Basketball/Sports Academy and your use of https://www.alphafootballacademy.com/ (the "Site"), including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Site and Application by Sports Development for Training and Investment ("Alpha Football Academy", "Alpha Basketball Academy", "Alpha Sports Academy", "Alpha", "Academy", "we", "us").

 

Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before you start to use the Site, Application or avail of services or offers at Alpha. By using the Site, Application, opening an account, or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms & Conditions when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms & Conditions, Legal Terms and our Privacy Policy, found incorporated herein by reference. If you do not want to agree to these Terms & Conditions, Legal Terms or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Site, Application or avail of any services or offers at Alpha.

Enrollment

The participant(s) will complete enrollment once the following have been submitted online: 

1. Participants can register by visiting our website, selecting their preferred location, and filling in the required details.

2. The completed registration form includes agreeing to accept the Terms & Conditions, Legal Terms and Privacy Policy.

3. Payment of a one-time registration fee (new members).

4. Payment for the relevant module. 

5. Children from ages 5 to 18 years can register at Alpha.

Admission to particular sessions will be subject to the availability of slots at the requested training location.

 

Purchases & Payments

• Payment of a one-time registration fee (new members) is OMR 25, which includes a red and blue set (2 jerseys, 2 shorts, 2 pairs of socks, and a bib), along with access to player reports and the app.

• Alpha Football Academy charges a nominal fee of OMR 35 per month, which includes 8 fixed sessions, i.e., 2 sessions per week.

• Alpha Basketball Academy charges a nominal fee of OMR 40 per month, which includes 8 fixed sessions, i.e., 2 sessions per week.

• We prefer participants to make payments only once they are certain they will attend, as fees cannot be returned or refunded. 

• Participants must pay the full fee before the start of the module or by the end of the 1st week at the latest.

• We accept payments via bank transfer in OMR.

• The payment will be counted as completed once the credit shows in the said account.

• The cardholder must retain a copy of the transaction records and share them with the admin.

• VAT is applied in the amounts mentioned above.

• Siblings receive a fixed OMR 5 discount per month/module. The discount is applicable only if the participants are enrolled for the entire month/module.

• Participants cannot attend classes on a pro-rata basis. Those attending 1-2 classes and discontinuing will be charged OMR 20, while any additional sessions will be charged in full OMR 35. It is advised to adhere to the calendar and module dates.

 

Refusal of Service

• The service is offered subject to our acceptance of your order or request for service. 

• We reserve the right to refuse service to any order, person or entity without any obligation to explain our reason for doing so. 

• We only deem an order accepted once payment has been processed. 

• Failure to clear previous module payments will prevent continuation into the next module.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

• We must follow a strict attendance policy to maintain high coaching standards across our venues. It is the sole responsibility of the participants to attend all sessions.

• The payment for the course is only refundable if the Academy cancels the entire course. 

• The Academy is not liable for or refunds for missed training sessions due to school functions and examinations, public holidays, festivals, sickness, injury, weather conditions, pandemics, etc. 

• The Academy will use the applications to conduct age-specific training in case sessions are called off due to weather conditions, a pandemic, or other circumstances that prevent them from being carried forward on the field.

 

Compensations/Make-up Sessions

We do offer the participants an opportunity to make up missed sessions under the following terms & conditions:

1. The Academy will not freeze sessions; missed sessions cannot be carried forward or accumulated under any circumstances. 

2. Participants can attend compensation sessions within the next 7 days. 

3. Participants must notify their absence to the coach before 12 midday of their session.

4. A medical certificate must be provided in case of illness, and the Academy needs to be informed.

5. A copy of the plane ticket must be sent to the manager in case of travelling.

6. If possible, we will allow participants to attend another training session in the same week.

7. The decision to replace participants who missed sessions is at the discretion of the Academy.

8. Make-up sessions require an active membership. 

9. Sessions cancelled by the Academy will be rescheduled.

General Terms

1. Players at Alpha are grouped based on skill level, not age, determined by coaches. Advancement through levels resembles climbing a pyramid, requiring dedication and hard work. Each coach oversees a group of 16 players.

2. Sessions are conducted using a proven methodology developed over 10 years in collaboration with esteemed clubs and delivered by qualified coaches. Parents should trust the process and refrain from involvement. They can spectate from the sidelines but cannot enter the pitch, even if unoccupied.

3. Participants should have a pre-game meal 30 minutes before the session, be punctual, and arrive 10 minutes early in full kit (jersey, shorts, socks, bib, shin guards, water bottle, football shoes). Failure to be on time or in the incorrect kit may result in consequences.

4. Parents should drop off their children 10 minutes before the session and pick them up within 15 minutes after it ends. The Academy is not responsible after the 15-minute wait time.

5. If a player needs to relocate from one venue to another, the manager must be consulted. If a slot is available at the other venue, the request may be accommodated at the academy manager's discretion. However, this cannot be guaranteed.

6. The training sessions are closed sessions that only admit the players, the player's family/guardians or identified friends. It is strictly prohibited that no video recording, pictures or photography is permitted during the training sessions.

7. Alpha materials, resources and courses are property of Sports Development for Training and Investment and are not to be distributed or disclosed for commercial purposes.

8. All training sessions and games are conducted in English. 

9. The Academy retains rights to photos and images of its participants and members taken during events for promotional purposes on flyers, newsletters, social media, and the Site only. Any objections must be submitted in writing.

10. The Academy can reschedule sessions due to weather, holidays, or tournaments, cancel a course, or change a venue, which may be necessary for any reasons determined.

11. We may change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Site, Application or service at any time, provided we fulfil our previous responsibilities to you based on your acceptance of payment. The Academy reserves the right to modify Terms & Conditions by notifying members. 

 

Release of Liability

I, being the parent/guardian of the aforementioned participant(s), I acknowledge that the above information is factually correct. Therefore, I agree to them participating in Alpha Football Academy, Alpha Basketball Academy, Alpha Sports Academy activities at all locations and using all their sports equipment.

I agree that I will not hold the Academy, its coaches, or the Site liable for any losses, liabilities, damages, injury, or death suffered or incurred by my child while participating in any of the activities run by Alpha Football Academy, Alpha Basketball Academy, or Alpha Sports Academy.​
